A Sad Day...not really
Okay, this posting concerns both of my readers, so listen up. I am curious as to what makes people choose the titles they do for their blogs or otherwise written works. For example, because I was slightly too irritated to think of something deep or funny or creative for my blog, I aptly named it "In between class", because frankly, that is the time I do most of my writing.
The Grow brothers on the other hand, in a slightly more depressing fashion entitled their sites: "The World has Turned and Left me Here" and "Lost to the World". Of course everyone at some point feels like they are estranged. Still, a well thought out title should reflect the general theme of the text, and I am curious to know whether you two really feel this way all the time which is quite sad or whether I should just suck it up and change my own title to: "Looking too much into things" which is also quite sad.

Oh haha! When I picked out the title for my blog, it was at a time when the "Lost to World" (a song by Mahler) was pretty much my personal credo. As of late, this bitter-sweet moniker doesn't fit. A more fitting title might be: "Leading a shallow and tawdry life: random musings of a macontented gay youth". But that just doesn't have a ring to it, huh?
i agree with your self-assessment kim, you can do way better than "in between class." me, i'm thinking about retitling to "i have a gay brother named ed."
p.s. TWHTALMH = weezer song + feeling as if the globe merely rotated & deposited me in germany. depressing = not intended.
